Out of Bounds (Rule 27)
(a) on the far side of any fence bounding the course, (b) in or beyond the stream on the 3rd, 6th, 7th hole, in or beyond the stram at the 4th up to the Roman Road, in or beyond the canal on the 19th hole, (c) on or beyond the flagged area in front of the Clubhouse, (d) in the ground staff area between the 18th green, 16th pit & 1st tee.
Water Hazards
are marked by yellow or red stakes and relief may be taken in accordance with Rule 26
Staked And/Or Banded Trees
Relief may be taken in accordance with Rule 24-2
Practice Putting Green
A ball coming to rest on the Practise Putting Green or the adjoining flower beds MUST be lifted and dropped off the green, without penalty but not nearer the hole.
Practice Ground
A ball coming to rest on the marked practice ground adjacent to the 10th & 18th fairways, is to be played as it lies.
Stones in Bunkers
Are moveable obstructions and may be removed without penalty under Rule 24-1.
Immovable Obstructions
Any pathways not in a hazard, shelters, practice net, tee markers, tee walls, benches, sprinkler heads marker posts on the 3rd & 9th fairways and the marker and bell posts on the 10th fairways are are immovable obstructions and relief may be obtained under Rule 24-3
Winter Greens
are 'wrong greens' Rule 25-3 applies.
Priority on the course
Singles and Foursomes have precedence over and are entitled to pass another kind of match. A single player has no standing. Any match playing the whole round is entitled to pass another playing a shorter round. If a match fails to keep its place on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should allow the match behind to pass.
Care of Course
Please help us to keep the course enjoyable and replace divots, repairing pitch marks on greens and smoothing over holes and footprints in the bunkers.
Players are reminded to consult the Notice Boards prior to play and comply with any Temporary Local Rules which may be in force at any given time.
