The Ladies Christmas Party 2025 proved to be one of the most enjoyable social events of the year at Ashton & Lea Golf Club, bringing together members for an evening filled with festive spirit and celebration.

The night began with each guest bringing along a Secret Santa gift, which were handed out in fun and festive style by Mrs Claus and Mrs Elf, played brilliantly by Lady Vice June and Lady Vice Elect Elaine. Their warm and joyful presence set the tone for what became a truly memorable evening.

Guests then enjoyed a beautifully prepared three-course festive meal, featuring a selection of seasonal starters, traditional Christmas mains such as turkey, and indulgent desserts to finish. The dining room was filled with conversation, laughter and the sound of glasses clinking as members relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Following the meal, Lady Captain Anne led a special awards presentation, celebrating achievements across the Ladies Section over the past year. The ceremony offered a lovely opportunity to acknowledge dedication, progress and standout performances within the section.

Entertainment for the evening was provided by the ever-popular Jazzy Jim, whose lively performance had the room laughing, singing and dancing throughout. His energy and humour ensured the night ended on a high note, with members taking to the floor to enjoy the festive fun.
