Captain's Day for Ladies

Sunday 1st June 2025

Despite a damp forecast, the weather stayed mostly dry as 42 ladies competed in the second major of the season at Ashton & Lea Golf Club. Hosted by Mr Captain Frank Leach, the day featured great golf, strong turnout, and superb hospitality. Andrea Kershaw claimed 1st Overall with a net 63, while Katherine Reynolds secured Best Gross. A big thank you to Captain Frank for his warm welcome and support — a fantastic day enjoyed by all!

Held on Saturday 10th May, Lady Vice Captain’s Day marked a fantastic start to the season’s major competitions at Ashton & Lea Golf Club. Glorious sunshine and a strong turnout set the tone for a brilliant day, with June Deveney providing a warm welcome and superb hospitality. From tee-time refreshments to a delightful afternoon tea for special guests, the event was filled with great spirits and camaraderie.
