Captain's Day for Ladies

Ashton & Lea Golf Club proudly held its annual Captain’s Day for the Ladies on Saturday 24th May, hosted by the ever-welcoming Mr Captain Frank Leach. With grey skies looming early on, the weather turned out to be far more forgiving than forecast, allowing play to go ahead in mostly dry conditions—much to the relief of all 42 competitors.

The event marked the second major of the Ladies’ season and once again highlighted the growing strength and spirit of the women's section. With a full field taking part, the day was a celebration not just of individual golfing success, but of the thriving community within the club.
