Lady Captain’s Day 2025

 


Lady Captain Mrs Anne Graham hosted a truly memorable Lady Captain’s Day across two days, held on Thursday 26th and Saturday 28th June 2025 at Ashton & Lea Golf Club. The event brought together the ladies’ section for two fantastic days of competition, with challenging conditions and a format that tested consistency and focus over both rounds.

 

 

Reflecting on the event, Lady Captain Anne shared:

“My Lady Captain’s Day was exceptional – I had an amazing time. Thank you to everyone who took part in the two days of competitions. Congratulations to all the winners, especially Julie who won overall.  I was truly overwhelmed by the generosity of the gifts I received from the ladies – it meant so much to me. Thank you all for making the day so special.”

1st Place: Julie Trinder – 69 + 73 = 142

Best Gross: Katherine Reynolds – 86 + 87 = 173

2nd Place: Barbara Wilkinson – 73 + 73 = 146

3rd Place: Jean Harrison – 77 + 70 = 147

37+ Category: Mary Westgarth – 82 + 89 = 171
