Vice President’s Day Success for Scott Wallace

On Saturday 6th September, Ashton & Lea Golf Club hosted its annual Vice President’s Day, where members competed in one of the most anticipated events of the season. After a day of close competition, it was Scott Wallace who emerged victorious with a superb nett 65.   Andy Walsh picked up Best Gross prize with an impressive 70.

The event was organised and hosted by Vice Presidents Dave Fairclough and Dave Proctor, who later welcomed players, friends, and guests to a well-attended presentation evening in the clubhouse.

Speaking after his win, Scott said:
“It’s an honour to win on such a big day for the club. The course was in great condition, and I’d like to thank Dave and Dave for putting on such a brilliant event.”

Vice President Dave Fairclough added:
“We’re always proud to host this day – it’s about celebrating the club spirit as much as the competition itself. Congratulations to Scott on a fantastic round.”

Congratulations also go to the other prize winners who made the day such a memorable success.
